CutiePieSensei si trasforma in Katara e lascia tutti a bocca aperta. Se il creatore di Avatar: The Last Airbender la vedesse, probabilmente la ingaggerebbe per un film. La serie, che ha debuttato nel 2005 su Nickelodeon e ha affascinato gli spettatori con i suoi temi maturi e la sua storia epica, ha moltissimi fan. La sua storia su un monaco di nome Aang che può controllare gli elementi di Terra, Acqua, Aria e Fuoco è diventato un fenomeno culturale.

La popolare cosplayer CutiePieSensei ha sbalordito i fan con il suo strabiliante costume di Katara. L’artista di talento ha dato vita all’eroina con una ricostruzione perfetta. Un’interpretazione che potrebbe essere vista in molti modi. Certo l’aspetto della sensualità e dell’orgoglio femminile della cosplayer non risulta irrilevante ai fini dell’opera.

Which is better, Katara’s fire nation outfit, or her normal water tribe one??⠀ ⠀ Normally my turnaround is not remotely this fast but 1: the top and choker were crazy easy to make and 2: so many of y’all requested! I don’t normally do requests but I wanted to go ahead and do this as a way to say thank you for 200K+ followers!!!! Like that’s freakin insane??? ⠀ ⠀ Being a black cosplayer is hella hard sometimes, and there have been times where I’ve needed to step back and reevaluate why I love making cosplay. Negative comments, puke and monkey emojis, being told I should only cosplay black characters, claims of black washing, or just in general knowing that I won’t quite ever be seen as “equally good” by certain people all because of how I look…….all this stuff can make posting here super daunting at times because it all happens pretty consistently. ⠀ ⠀ But the fact that even through all of that, y’all are still here riding with me (or have just found me, WELCOME 🙏🏾) and have been an overwhelmingly positive force. Y’all have been so freakin supportive and your warm words of encouragement keep me pushing. I may not always be able to respond but I appreciate each and every one of you. I truly love cosplay and while there can be negativity, the good feelings i get from doing it and y’alls positivity outshine the bad stuff 300fold. If you had told me when I first started and didn’t own a sewing machine or power tools that I’d have 200K people who want to see my cosplay shit I would’ve laughed and bet all my money against it. ⠀ ⠀ I am being wordy so imma wrap it up but just THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. The Last Airbender inizia con Katara e suo fratello Sokka che scoprono che Aang è intrappolato nel ghiaccio. L’eroina diventa il suo maestro di waterbending e lo aiuta a imparare a controllare i suoi poteri.

CutiePieSensei si è trasformata nel personaggio popolare e ha stupito con il suo abbigliamento fedele. La cosplayer indossava l’abito blu della Southern Water Tribe di Katara.  Come se ciò non fosse abbastanza impressionante, CutiePieSensei si è anche vestita come il terzo libro di Katara. Mettendo i capelli in una crocchia, ha rispecchiato il get-up Fire Nation del waterbender che include bracciali dorati, così come il suo nuovo ciondolo girocollo per sostituire la sua collana Tribù d’acqua. Insomma al passo con la serie.

Have you also been binging ATLA this weekend? What’s your favorite episode? (I love the “recap” ember island players episode 😂)⠀ ⠀ Rewatching and finishing the series this weekend, I really am reminded of why I loved it in the first place. There were episodes in there (like the story of Sozin and Roku) that I completely forgot about because I hadn’t seen the series in its entirety since i watched when it came on live on Nickelodeon. Not to mention, there’s themes you understand more as an adult that you might’ve missed. And I love just seeing the growth in all of the characters 🥰I change my answer from before btw, Iroh is definitely my number one favorite character. ⠀ ⠀ As far as this post goes, I’m low key mad at myself for only just now doing a Katara look. This should’ve been something I did forever ago lol. It was super quick and easy.
